School clubs are at Drake to provide extra opportunities and enrichment for our children.

This Term, we have many lunchtime and after school clubs on offer throughout the week which provide new experiences. 

• Sports clubs (rugby, football, karate and hula hooping)
• Games clubs (chess, board games and Lego)
• Drama and dance 
• Reading clubs (How to Train your Dragon and Harry Potter)
• Journalism  
• Book folding 
• Science 
• Gardening 
• Diversity 
• Radio 
• Coding 
• Cookery
• Makaton 
• Music clubs (choir, boomwhackers and ukulele)
• Open Library/quiet reading time

Information is sent out to parents/guardians at the beginning of the term giving further details about the clubs. Where more children want to take part in a club than there are spaces available priority will be given to children that have not previously taken part in the club.

We offer a range of instrumental lessons.  Lessons are provided by experienced music teachers and take place during the school day. We currently offer lessons in keyboard, flute, clarinet, saxophone, recorder and violin. There is a charge for lessons, but instrument hire is free for the first year.
